Manifesto

A museum, not a market.

Crypticum treats generative systems as instruments for looking, making and remembering - not as vehicles for speculation.

01

The recipe matters.

A seed and visible parameters make the process inspectable and reproducible. The artifact is not separated from the system that produced it.

02

Local is a product decision.

A creative tool should not require a profile, remote model or permanent upload merely to draw a geometric study.

03

Curation beats infinite inventory.

Collections and exhibitions create context. They do not simulate scarcity, a floor price or a marketplace.

04

Rights should be readable.

Commercial terms must describe permitted use, limits and provenance without pretending that every algorithmic output is automatically exclusive.

05

The interface should be quiet.

The artwork is the protagonist. Controls should behave like a calibrated instrument, not an attention market.

06

No financial theatre.

No wallet, minting flow, token promise, investment claim or artificial value signal belongs in the default product.
